My work begins with observing the living world and its transformations. I am drawn to its structures, its irregularities, and to the way nature continually reinvents itself without ever repeating. I am interested in what transforms, what remains in motion and escapes a predetermined form. This exploration runs through my light sculptures: some can be turned over, moved or used in different ways, leaving each person free to let them evolve within a space.

Everything begins with a slow, repeated, almost meditative gesture. The material is gradually laid down, line after line, until a lace-like structure emerges and begins to take shape.
Entirely shaped by hand, each piece bears the subtle variations of the gesture. No two can ever be exactly alike.
Creating a light sculpture takes time. An irreducible amount of time, guided by the hand, as the material is patiently built up until it becomes light.
